Hello Ofir,
[OG>On another note - what about the "GEM List Compliant" logo idea? Maybe
[OG>someone here is good at drawing icons... I think that we should have levels
[OG>of compliance, for example:
[OG>
[OG>G1 - GEM List level 1 compatible - Follows the keyboard shortcut guide
[OG>G2 - GEM List level 2 compatible - As above, but also supports the conf file
[OG>
[OG>This will allow developers a gradual change to the new standard.
I like this idea; I have a further suggestion, though. How about making
the icon selectable, and displaying some general information about the
GEM-List standard when it is clicked on? For example, the program could
bring up a dialog box with the following text (or some much better written
text):
"The GEM-List Standard was approved by a group of XXX developers, on
XX/XX/XX. It embodies the..." [provide some interesting trivia about
the GEM-List here).
The main point of this idea is so that users find out a little more about
the GEM-List and understand why the programmer chose to support it instead
of the Atari standard. Good idea, bad idea?
